Tamale Beef Casserole

From kiwislut

This can get kind of greasy sometimes, but it's definitely nice and filling!

Tamale Beef Casserole

1 can tamales, drained, skinned and cut in half
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can sweet corn
1 package shredded Colby-jack cheese

Heat oven to 350.

In a casserole dish (9"x 9" or 2-qt), cut tamales in half and distribute evenly across the bottom of the dish.

Brown and drain meat, according to the directions on the package of taco seasoning. Spoon meat evenly over the tamales when it is ready.

Spread an even layer of corn over the meat, and an even layer of cheese on top of the corn. (It works just as well to put more or less of something on one side, though)

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted. (I can't remember the exact cooking time, so I'm guessing a little here.)
